“Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.””
John 8:12 NKJV

A recent trip to the vet confirmed that my dog, Carley is completely blind. Even though I know she can’t see I cannot bring myself to leave her in a dark room if I go out.

As I read this verse I realized, this is how God must feel when He sees people choose to walk in darkness, when He has provided the light of the World.

Light is symbolic of vision and direction. It’s up to you and I to lead people to the light. It is up to you and I to reflect the light of Jesus so they will be drawn to Him. The smallest candle light can pierce the darkness.

Follow the light. Be the light.
